Over the last decade, Emily’s work has been featured in both print and online publications. Her professional photography career officially began in 2012. Photography runs in her blood, lingers on her breath, defines her identity, and it's her passion. Emily knows nothing else but photography, and she wouldn't have it any other way. She specializes in portraiture and boudoir photography and operates a commercial studio in Palmyra, Virginia. Emily loves working with women and families and enjoys the unique challenges and rewards that come with capturing the beauty and sensuality of the female form.

My biggest goal in life is to not only lift up and support other women,

but also to bring women together, to hold space for one another and TO SEE ONE ANOTHER.

What if it was customary and natural to acknowledge other women?

Like wherever you were- the grocery store, PTO meetings, the dentist…

WHAT IF when you saw another woman it was like a sorority and we had a handshake, a gesture or some kind of outward confirmation that meant-

I SEE YOU, I love you- because I AM YOU

This concept reminds me of my time living in an intentional community where we had a women’s circle.

It was a time when we got together, drank tea or wine, and just spent time together.

We talked and shared stories, discussed our dreams, we sang, we sat down under the open sky in front of a fire.

And we just celebrated being Women and all that comes with it.

We created a safe space for each other free from judgement or expectations.

Today, I’m in my office and I looked over at the canvas I have hanging for everyone to sign after their shoot and it hit me…

This may look very different than a traditional women’s circle-

We’re not all together at the same time,

we’re not under the moon singing songs that have been past down for generations-

But we are celebrating being a women together in a safe space-

it is a women’s circle all the same.

Whenever you come visit me in my space and participate in a Boudoir Experience you are joining my circle.

You get to sign the canvas and embrace your WOMANHOOD in an entirely new light-

You become a part of something bigger than yourself-

And more importantly you are sharing this wisdom and LOVE with other women who need the permission to completely indulge in their femininity.

This autographed canvas is so sacred I can’t even show you the names!!!!

Not all women want to display their courage and that’s perfect. That’s all part of the safety and care associated with this space and work.

Hey Gorgeous!! I am a Charlottesville native, born and raised!

After college, I became professionally trained in production makeup artistry and special fx in Florida. I started in runway 10 years ago and transitioned to bridal once I moved back.

Makeup artistry is my favorite avenue for being creative. Along with being a licensed esthetician and lash extension artist.

It is my joy to make the Boudoir glam process EASY and FUN! I am looking forward to meeting you, and can’t wait to join you on this journey to discovering your inner and outer Goddess! 🥰🥰🥰
