How do I book?

To start the booking process – CLICK HERE to inquire. You’ll receive an automated email with details, pricing, and booking information.

How much does it cost?

That all depends on what you want. This isn’t a 30 min photoshoot! Our custom Boudoir Experience includes planning and style consultations prior to your session and a 4 hour experience in our studio the day we take your photos! The experience consists of, professional hair and makeup, a 90-min photoshoot and an hour viewing and ordering appointment. Please INQUIRE to get all the info.

Will my photos be online?

Nope. I respect your privacy and never share photos without written permission. The ladies you see on this page gave me their written consent to share their images. If you decide to inspire other ladies with your photos, that's totally up to you but it's not a requirement to shoot with me.

Where are you located?

I have a beautiful hand curated studio for you to use for your session! The private Emily Sacco Boudoir studio is located in Palmyra, Virginia. Palmyra is in Fluvanna County approximately 25 minutes east of most Charlottesville areas and about 45 min west of west-end Richmond.

What does “full service” mean exactly?

Most people have never experienced a full-service photoshoot, let me assure you, you’re in for a REAL treat. I will help you sort through your images, select the best ones and then create amazing products. After your photoshoot there is no homework. You don’t have to go home and pick your favorites, or get back to me on any details. We do all of the picking out and choosing together so you never feel overwhelmed or like you’re making the “wrong” choice. Full service means I guide you all the way through your getting ready, through every pose, down to the album layout. It’s a true luxury experience where you will feel taken care of the entire way.

Are hair and makeup included?

Absolutely! I think it’s imperative that you are pampered and feel like a complete rock star before we start! Olivia Stratos is our makeup artist and she is sensational! Once you book, you’ll receive a questionnaire and we will ask specific hair and makeup questions. We are here to give as much guidance as you need- so if you don’t know a lot about hair and makeup, no problem and if you do- that’s fine too!

What should I bring?

I will help you pick out your wardrobe once you book your session. I have guides and a ton of information! It’s easy to pick out outfits that make you look and feel amazing!

Do you photograph couples? or men?

No, not at this time. We specialize in photographing women. We do not photograph men.

Do you schedule groups or parties?

We don't. This is a full day experience and in order to get the one-on-one direction and attention you deserve I work with one lady at a time.

How soon can I come in?

As soon as possible! Although this is my full-time business, I am not a high-volume photographer and only accept a handful of appointments per month. Additionally, I am usually booked at least 2 months out. This exclusive business model allows me to give my clients the attention they deserve and the best experience I can possibly give. I strongly suggest that you book an appointment at least 2-3 months prior to any deadlines.

How long does everything take?

Between the wardrobe consultation, the makeover, the session and your ordering appointment, you will be at the studio for approximately 4 hours.

What's the turn-around to receive my photos?

You will see and pick out your images the day of your session. Digital purchases will be delivered about 2 weeks after your shoot. Albums and products will be delivered about 2 weeks after your digital images are retouched. Please plan accordingly for any deadlines you might have!

How do you edit the photos?

I keep editing simple. Editing includes color correction, contrast adjustment, removal of temporary skin imperfections like small pimples, bruises, and small scars. We also apply a basic skin airbrush technique which makes other skin imperfections including cellulite and stretch marks less noticeable. With proper posing and the choosing of the right wardrobe you will look amazing. I also will send out a questionnaire to you before your shoot to ask about anything you’re self-conscious about to keep in mind during your shoot.

Do you provide wardrobe?

I have a supplemental wardrobe that includes, heels and robes. I’ve found over the years it’s so important that women pick out their own lingerie that fits properly. When you book your shoot, you’ll receive a wardrobe guide and information. Your new lingerie is part of the experience! This is an invitation to explore yourself and find some new lingerie that fits you well and shows off you beautifully.

Can I bring a friend or a significant other with me?

No, sorry. Only the person getting photographed is allowed on premises during the entire experience, including the photo ordering. We don’t allow companions during the photo reveal either. I’ve found that picking the images you love of yourself is the most important thing- even if these photos are a gift.

Do you photograph nudes?

Yes, the only thing I don’t photograph is penetration or “erotica”. Most clients choose to be photographed as implied and partial nudes, meaning the client is covering up with a sheet or robe but is nude underneath. However, if full frontal is what you’re after that’s totally fine with me!

Do you offer maternity sessions?

Yes. Posing is a little less over the top because we have to be safe- but maternity boudoir is gorgeous!

I have no idea how to pose. Can you help me?

Of course girl! Don’t worry about posing. That’s my job! From facial expressions to body posture, you will be guided down to your fingertips on how to look your best. Anyone body can do it! I promise.
