Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? If so, how does your shoot with Emily compare to your prior experience?

Once, about ten years ago; the images from that prior shoot are nice, but they aren't something I ever feel the desire to look at. They don't really feel like 'me.' My session with Emily, on the other hand, was amazing because the experience and the stunning images truly feel like a celebration of me, of my personality and interests. That's worth way more than a look or two over the years for sure!

Why did you do your boudoir shoot?

I recently lost over 60 pounds and wanted to celebrate the achievement. I was looking for some self-love and empowerment!

How are you feeling now after you did the session?

I'm thrilled that I did this; I feel seen and celebrated! I can already tell it's a memory I'll always cherish, and I'm so proud of the photos.

What was the best part of your experience? Would you change anything?

The creative collaboration with Emily was my favorite part; I brought a lot of ideas and props to the shoot, and she was enthusiastic about it all! She took what I had in mind and added her expertise and vision--it felt like we were making art together (we were!), and it was pure fun from start to finish.

Would you recommend this experience to a friend?

Absolutely. To any friend, especially if the pictures are just for themselves!
